Scholarships Available to Ellis University Students

Ellis University is now accepting applicants for the Provost and Dean scholarships to be awarded for terms from August 2008 to November 2008.

Designed with two goals in mind - to recognize academic achievement and to help students in need - these scholarships will provide tuition assistance to many deserving Ellis University students.

The Provost Scholarship will be awarded to one Undergraduate and one Graduate student per term and each recipient will receive $1,000 dollars towards tuition for one Ellis University course.

Ellis University will award the Dean Scholarship to one Undergraduate and one Graduate student per term. This scholarship will be for the cost of tuition for one Ellis University course.

Provost Scholarship

  • Student must be in good academic standing (3.0 Graduate GPA / 2.0 Undergraduate GPA)
  • Student must be in good financial standing with college
  • Student must have completed at least 9 credits from Ellis University

Dean Scholarship

  • Student must be in Honors standing (3.5 Graduate GPA / 3.2 Undergraduate GPA)
  • Student must demonstrate strong academic performance
  • Student must have completed at least 9 credits at Ellis University

Students must be in good standing with all departments to qualify. Students are eligible to receive one Dean’s or Provost Scholarship per year and will be considered for any terms for which they are scheduled for a course. Student not currently scheduled for future courses should contact their academic advisor.

 

To be selected for a scholarship for terms from August 2008 to November 2008, students must submit their applications by July 18, 2008.

Where to find the applications:

  • Applications can be found on your MyEllis page under the messages pull down menu in the Document Center.
  • In the Document Center each application will be stored in the section called Other Documents.

How to submit the application:

  • In the middle of the page next to the title of the document it states “download blank form”. Click here to download the blank form.
  • The form will appear on your screen; please fill it out completely.
  • Once you have completed the application, save the application to your files in your personal computer, with your last name and the name of the application, ex. (SmithDeansScholarship.pdf).
  • To submit, click the browse button in the Document Center and click on the document where you have it saved within your computer. The document will appear in the gray box.
  • To complete the upload of your scholarship application, click on “upload selected file”.  
  • To notify you that your application has been received, a confirmation email will be sent to your primary email address.
